Artist Sjors Smit and I discovered a new connection with the surrounding neighborhood and connected materials through reconstruction. In the period of march we collected and discovered many memories and material, which we then inscribed with our personal discoveries. While working over the old materials a new narrative started to take shape. The ghost of the baker is a fabulative reaction to forgotten living spaces and what activities were taking place in them. Combining wood engraving with installation and video, we were set out to tell a story of renovated spaces like a palimpsest(re-editing over a washed away text) which created a ghost within its layers.

In this new iteration we continued on a new version of the kitchen area, also discovering new ways of setting it up in investigative fashion.
